About Us

Rancho Bernardo High School's GSA will be providing these services at our meetings:

1. LGBT Peer Counseling - if you have things you want to talk about (relationships, conflicts, successes), you are always welcome to speak about it. In our club, we will have days when we chat around the group and check how everyone is doing. If you want individual time with one of our club advisors, don't hesitate to ask that as well; we are here for you.

2. Group Socializing - we want to connect you with other LGBT teenagers going through the same struggles or people doing well in the LGBT community. This will build relationships, both possible romantic and some beautiful friendships. Some days our groups will get together for some fun, hang out, and get to know others in the group.

3. Education into LGBT - Like peer counseling, we are here to give you resources and different educational sessions to learn more about who you are and who the other people are in the room. 

4. Current News on LGBT - Now we don't want to watch a news show every time we meet. But if there is something relating to LGBT in the important news, we will briefly bring it up and talk about it.

5. Outside Activities - When there are things to do outside of school, it becomes even more fun. We will organize outside activities and small events for this club to bring everyone together.

​The saying here about GSA being a safe place, it truly is. California Law protects everything you say in the group, outside activities, and contact between yourself and us. No one will know anything you bringing up to us. You are protected by AB 537 California Student Safety and Violence Prevention Act.
