Welcome to GSA (Gay-Straight Alliance) here at Rancho Bernardo High School. What is GSA? GSA stands for Gay-Straight Alliance. This program allows people of all races, sexualities, and religions to come together and form a beautiful and loving community. Here you'll have a safe space to talk openly about your sexuality without judgment. Everything spoken at GSA remains confidential and is protected by the AB 537 California Student Safety and Violence Prevention Act. Gay Straight Alliance opens opportunities for friendships between people in the LGBTQ community and people in the straight community.
Along with the social aspect, you'll have the chance to learn about your sexuality, allowing you more realization into who you are. Unfortunately, many of the fun LGBTQ events in California have been postponed due to COVID. However, we provide updates for those activities, and you will be quickly notified about those if you attend GSA. We are also working on taking GSA members on field trips; this has yet to be fully approved and confirmed but stays tuned as the trips we have planned are extremely fun. Welcome to GSA!
