Hi, my name is Taylor Morrison, and I am the GSA President for Rancho Bernardo High School and collaborator for Del Norte High School. Outside of school and GSA, I work with special ed children and have been doing so for six years. I love helping people. Love helping them grow, prosper and become comfortable in their own body. When I got the opportunity to become the president of this very beneficial program, I knew that also meant I would help people grow even more. Rancho Bernardo High School has an extreme diversity amongst its student body. Everything from races, religions, and sexualities. Unfortunately, a lot of them are still in the closet. This can happen due to a lot of different things. Stuff like parents not accepting them for who they are, school stress, bullying, etc... My job is to create an environment where all students realizing their sexuality is of the same gender to feel safe within this program, on the school campus, and off of the school campus. Gay Straight Alliance's second purpose is to bring the straight community together with the LGBTQ community. One of this club's primary goals is to allow people to make friendships and possible healthy intimate relationships. We offer a lot of services and support.
